Welcome to Marina Youth Theatre's production of Aladdin! As the new principal of Marina High School, it is a true privilege to welcome you to one of my first performances as a Viking. Returning to Marina feels like coming home, and I have already been inspired by the incredible talent, passion, and sense of community that make this school so special.
Theatre is so much more than a performance. It teaches creativity, collaboration, perseverance, and confidence — skills that will serve our students long after the final curtain falls. Every actor, musician, stage crew member, designer, and student volunteer has dedicated countless hours to bringing this beloved story to life, and their commitment is evident in every aspect of tonight's production.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our outstanding directors, staff, parent volunteers, and families whose encouragement and support make opportunities like this possible. Your investment in the arts helps create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our students and strengthen our school community!
Thank you for joining us and for supporting Marina Youth Theatre. I hope you enjoy this magical journey to Agrabah and leave with a renewed appreciation for the remarkable talents of our performers. Enjoy the show! 🐒
